Light a Candle
Rebecca “Becky Jo” Seay Stephenson, 58, of Buena Vista, passed away unexpectedly on December 19, 2021, due to complications from Covid. She was preceded in death by her father, David Seay Sr. and son, Allen “Trey” Berry Jr. She is survived by her children Krystal Berry, Savannah Stephenson, Harleigh Stephenson and Donovan “Slade” Stephenson, and daughter-in-law Samantha Loving; her grandchildren Prestyn and Charlotte Trim (Krystal), Liam and Ethan Berry (Trey), and Athena Attwood (Harleigh); her mother Joyce Seay; her siblings David Seay Jr. (Kim), Debbie Dreelin (Greg), Louis (Dawn), and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. Rebecca graduated from Meadowbrook High School and spent most of her adult life in Colonial Heights. She received a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from the University of Phoenix. She held various positions throughout her career, but her favorite position was a loving Mimi to her grandchildren. Out of consideration for our elderly and immunocompromised family and friends, we have chosen to forego a public memorial at this time.
